Conviction Reversed for Commercial Burglary Despite Questionable DNA Evidence

In Orange County, a nail salon employee arrived one morning to find the front window broken, the place robbed and a baseball-size rock on the floor.  DNA on the rock matched that of Pedro Arevalo.  An expert at trial said that DNA can remain on a rock for up to a year.  The jury convicted Arevalo and he appealed.  How did the appellate court rule on this?  Click on the following link to find out.
