Is a Protective Order OK If It Bars Contact with Non-Victims?

If a suspect’s children witness acts of domestic violence, assault and vandalism directed at their mom, may a judge issue a protective order that bars the suspect from contacting such children upon being released from prison?  A judge did this and the suspect, the children’s father appealed the order.  How did it turn out?  Click on the following link to find out.
