Discovery for California Racial Justice Act Case

The “good cause” requirement for discovery under the California Racial Justice Act (CRJA) is similar to the “good cause” showing requirement for production of law enforcement records under Pitchess and only requires that defendant present “a plausible factual foundation that a violation of the CRJA could or might have” taken place in a particular case.
